DEMON OF ALCOHOLISM‼️

There are serious spiritual forces behind alcoholism. Have you ever wondered why strong alcoholic drinks are called spirits? Or why there's a drink called gin, sounding similar to jinn, a demonic spirit? Whether symbolic or not, the reality is that alcohol has enslaved millions.

Alcohol tastes bitter, burns the throat, causes sickness, regret, hangovers, shame, and yet people keep returning to it. That is bo***ge.

Many families have recurring patterns of alcoholism across generations. If alcohol abuse existed in your lineage, it often reappears again and again, leaving a trail of broken lives.

Alcohol weakens discernment, dulls the conscience, and clouds judgment. The Bible warns:

> "Do not be drunk with wine... but be filled with the Holy Spirit." — Ephesians 5:18

Drunkenness has fueled violence, imprisonment, drunk driving deaths, sexual immorality, broken marriages, lost jobs, ruined reputations, financial destruction, and countless tragedies.

Alcohol has destroyed marriages, torn apart families, robbed parents of their children, ended promising careers, driven people into poverty, and set millions back years—sometimes for the rest of their lives. Many have lost businesses, homes, friendships, and opportunities because of addiction. What begins as a drink can become a prison.

It also damages the body—the liver, brain, heart, and other organs—and has harmed countless innocent children through alcohol-related birth defects.

The Bible repeatedly warns against drunkenness:

> "Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise." — Proverbs 20:1

> "Look not thou upon the wine when it is red... at the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder." — Proverbs 23:31–32

While Scripture mentions limited medicinal use of wine (1 Timothy 5:23), it never encourages drunkenness.

This principle also applies to getting high through drugs. Anything that steals sobriety, clarity, and self-control can lead to bo***ge and destruction.

Jesus Christ came to set captives free:

> "He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives." — Luke 4:18

Freedom is possible. Pray. Resist. Stand firm.

> "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." — 2 Timothy 1:7

You are not helpless. But you must choose freedom.
