Owned by Ray Chan the hairstylist, zhān is a multi-purpose space that serves more than hair-dressing. Situated in a neighborhood of blossoming local arts, the multi-purpose space aims to niche urban art and living, introducing to the community a series of bona fide works by Hong Kong artists and designers. At the same time, at zhān the notion of urban art is modest – we aim to bring forth the idea of integrating visual arts and urban living, creating an unconventional visual benefit to different individuals who come across us. 霑記 (zhān ji), the sister brand of zhān is a boutique that houses the nameless and the famous. Endorsed by Ray Chan and Ann Hung, together they have established a brand of uniform mishmash.
