Michael 於英國長大，原本係一位珠寶鑑定師。直到四十歲，佢發現自己對葡萄酒行業充滿熱情，於是毅然轉行，遠赴澳洲學習釀酒。Michael 堅持採用野生酵母，並且盡量減少人為干預，令每一塊葡萄園嘅風土自然發揮。呢個理念，令Michael嘅作品非常有深度之外，更展現出鮮明而令人難忘嘅個性。

Founded by biochemist Stephen Cook, Eisenstone is a study in terroir. The name itself—Eisen (Iron) and Stone—pays homage to the German heritage and the distinctive ironstone soils of the Barossa Valley.
