Good night folks, let's start predicting how the World Cup will unfold. I'm one day late but that's ok, more than a month of football is still ahead. About the upcoming two games I would say:
1) Canada vs Bosnia and Herzegovina - sorry for the fans of the respective NTs, but I expect this to be the lowest quality game on the tournament, Canada literally have just 2 good players, Alphonso Davies and Jonathan David and Davies has been plagued by injuries for the last 2 years, he's definitely not the same player he was when he joined Bayern. Bosnia has 40+ year old Dzeko and several guys playing in fringe roles in several, average Bundesliga teams. I love Dzeko, but age is age. I expect a dull game, possibly 0-0, 1-1 or either side scraping a 1-0 victory, nothing beyond that
2) USA vs Paraguay - USA will win comfortably I guess, they have many, many young, talented players in top European leagues, a top coach and the crowd behind them. Paraguay is usually a tough nut to break, a bit like Italy at tournaments, low-scoring, but very hard to break down. Just a few days ago it was announced that Enciso - their main star is out injured, that must be mentally devastating for the whole team. 3-0 or 3-1 for USA here
