Familia and Friends

A new collection of Studio Arhoj’s Ghosts and Familia have arrived at Objective, bringing with them their peculiar expressions, colours, and slightly mysterious presence. Each one is waiting to find its own place.

Each one is hand-cast in solid, weighty white porcelain, glazed in Studio Arhoj’s distinctive high-fire colours, and finally given life with a pair of eyes.

NEW BRAND TO OBJECTIVE ✨

We’re delighted to introduce the work of UK ceramic artist Veronica Kendall to Objective Lifestyle Shop, Hampstead.

Veronica’s sculptural stoneware vessels reinterpret the decorative traditions of Pre-Columbian and African art, drawing inspiration from the bold geometric patterns of Mali’s mud cloth and the abstract textile designs of the Congo.

Each piece is individually handmade in the UK, combining pattern, texture and form. Using techniques including sgraffito, wax resist and paper relief, Veronica creates rhythmic, tactile surfaces that make every vessel truly unique.

Rooted in heritage and interpreted through a contemporary lens, her ceramics bring artistry, craftsmanship and cultural storytelling into the home.

Veronica Kendall’s ceramics are now available at Objective Lifestyle Shop, Hampstead. In store only.

This morning, as we opened our inbox, we were delighted to see that our Hampstead shop has once again been mentioned by our beloved publication and friends Design Anthology. To our visitors at Hampstead, you may already seen the writings at our shopfront!

Over the years, Design Anthology has accompanied us through different chapters of our journey, generously sharing our stories and works as our studio evolves.

Many of you may have noticed, the scaffolding has finally been removed!

Once again, the deep oxblood-red tiled facade of Hampstead Underground Station stands fully revealed.

Designed by architect Leslie Green, the station is the deepest station on the London Underground network. Its facade and interiors are decorated by the language of British Art Nouveau, where ornament and infrastructure become one architectural expression.

For months, the building existed behind a metal grid. Now, its presence can be experienced in full once more. A familiar landmark, restored to the streetscape of Hampstead.

Introducing HAMA pottery at Objective Lifestyle Shop.

HAMA is a UK-based pottery brand founded by a duo originally from Hong Kong, specialising in handcrafted, timeless ceramic pieces made in their home studio. Established in 2016, HAMA was born from Jonathan’s desire to refine his pottery skills after a decade of teaching, while Crystal transitioned from graphic design to explore new creative avenues.

Their work focuses on balancing function and aesthetics, with a vision to craft contemporary yet enduring forms meant to be cherished across generations. Each piece is made using traditional techniques—hand throwing, sculpting, and carving—and finished with their signature ‘Moonrise’ glaze, a fine-textured, natural-looking snowy glaze that enhances the details and contours of their designs.

Aoi Yoshizawa’s SADE (Finnish for “rain”) pattern lets your mind travel to the late evening sun set and soothing summer rain. The light shades of our SADE products are bringing out the delicate style in this pattern.

Washed linen doesn’t necessarily need any ironing, small wrinkles are allowed, even desired for! Linen is a natural material that feels pleasant on the skin, it’s very absorbent and dries very fast. For these reasons linen is an excellent material for towels. 100% washed linen has been wash treated during our production process, this towel has its outstanding absorption capacity.

This generously sized towel wraps around you with ease, and there’s plenty of room to lounge on it, making it perfect as a bath, picnic or beach towel as well. Its large size doesn’t mean it takes up too much space.

This towel fits effortlessly into a cupboard or travel bag, making it the ideal companion for both home and vacation.
