I’m stuck in a neverending loop of tuning this F2 Hijaz 🥶😵‍💫 It is indeed a very difficult process, but finally I can share some insights how it sounds :))

I didn’t post for a while because I’m focusing on building two beautiful handpans:
Nr.7 👉 C Hijaz 10
Nr.8 👉 F2 Hijaz 17

The F2 Hijaz requires a lot of patience and further understanding of the physics of the handpan notes and layout and I kinda love getting lost in this neverending rabbit hole. I’m glad that both will be tuned to 432 Hz. There’s so much depth in it compared to 440 Hz 🌀🧘‍♂️

Another important workshop update! 🫣
From now on, you can hear the sound quality of Ambeh handpans much closer to how they sound in real life. I still can’t capture the full resonance you experience when playing one yourself, but it’s decent enough to give you a real sense of the Ambeh sound. 🎶

Did you know I was a software developer before I started making handpans? I spent so much time in Zoom meetings back then… 🥵 Fortunately, it’s a completely different kind of Zoom.

Csodás élmény volt a labirintusjárásokat handpan játékkal kísérni a Gombaszögi Nyári Táborban. Egy finomhangolás alatt álló 432 Hz-re hangolt D Kurd 10-es hangszerrel érkeztem és nagyon izgultam, mivel ez volt az első alkalom, hogy ilyesmiben részt vettem. Érdekes volt megtapasztalni, hogy mennyi feszültséget tud felszabadítani egy ilyen sétáló meditáció a természet lágy ölén 🧘‍♂️🌳

It's been quite a challenge to build this handpan due to the custom scale and note layout. Overall I'm happy with the result.
