CIDADAP – Residents Shocked as Local Man Dies After King Cobra Bite

Inalillahi ya Allah 🥲 Residents of Cidadap, Cibarengkok Village, were shocked by a tragic incident on Monday morning when an elderly man was found dead, allegedly after being bitten by a king cobra in a rubber plantation.

According to witnesses, the victim was carrying out his usual activities in the field when cries for help were suddenly heard. When residents arrived, the man was already unconscious with a bite wound on his leg.

Police officers who arrived at the scene, together with local residents, found a large king cobra not far from where the incident occurred. The snake was secured to prevent further danger to nearby residents.

This tragedy serves as a reminder for everyone to stay cautious when working in plantations or forest areas, especially during the dry season when snakes and other reptiles often emerge from their nests.
