This is a Very Good Thing. For too long, companies have made it incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to fix products for which we've paid large amounts of money. Built-in obsolescence and the disposable nature of tech has fed a pile of waste that is unsustainable.

New EU rules have come into force aiming to tackle the 35 million tonnes of waste the premature disposal of consumer goods generates across the bloc.

Very pleased to announce that the website has just had a major update and is now live. So, should you wish to peruse the first tranche of books that have been uploaded, head over to https://inglenot.com/books.php and have a gander. It's mostly fiction, the rest will follow over the next few months. Pics and more notes, too, hopefully. Some thanks is due to Gemini for helping with the code and fixing some dumb errors. Though it made a few of its own...

A new IT shop and bookshop recently opened up in a rural Wexford village... Inglenot is the brainchild of Michael Gilbert and it was was originally set up back in Somerset in 2018. Michael was born in Bangor, Co. Down, but he left the North more than 40 years ago to study at a University
