CASTLE U8s...AS TOUGH AS YOU GET!!!!

Fair play to the CASTLE U8s who braved the elements at a wet and cold Páirc An Chaisleán on Monday evening for another fantastic evening of Go Games football against Annascaul.
Points and goals galore despite the wintry conditions, and great fun was had by all (even the shivering parents on the sideline!!)

CASTLE / ST. PATS WIN U17 SUPER 10s DIV 2 TITLE!!!

The combined Castle/St Pat's U17s secured a Division 2 county title tonight at a wet and windy Currans. This competition is played 10-a-side, with games lasting 30 minutes.

Castle/Pat's qualified for the Division 2 semi-final after two nights of competition over the past two weeks and faced up to the mighty Austin Stacks in Currans tonight. A fantastic performance from our boys saw them progress on the scoreline of 3-09 to 2-06.

Ballyduff were the opponents in the final and it was nip-and-tuck all the way to the final whistle, with a last-gasp goal from Killian Crean finally swinging it our way on the score of 4-06 to 3-08.

Conor O'Donnell captained the side and accepted the trophy on behalf of a delighted team. Many thanks to Brian Murphy and Cliff Galvin for managing the team, and to parents and supporters for making the trip to the Kerry Centre of Excellence in Currans.

U10 GIRLS OUT IN DI**LE FOR WEST-KERRY BLITZ!!

Our U10 Girls travelled over to Di**le last night to play in a Blitz against Corca Dhuibhne, Annascaul and Di**le.
Well done to all to all these young players.....what a performance in very wet conditions.....great passing and team work and some lovely scores...
Congrats to those girls who played their first game for CASTLE... well done again Girls!!!

ARDFERT TAKE THE AlLL IMPORTANT WIN!

Div 3 COUNTY LEAGUE - Rd 9

On a cold, windy evening (felt like Autumn) CASTLE Seniors just couldn't get tthe 'flow' in their game and trailing heavily at half time (1-04 to 0-18) they had hoped the wind, a new focus would push them on in the second 30.

However as the second half progressed things got a little forced as we desperately sought those scores....a couple of 2 pointers from Paudie Fitz. (great to have him back in the Jersey) being the cream of the scores, another man back from injury, Maurice O Connell getting another fine score, but alot of attacks going unrewarded.

Ardfert, with a strong focus on retaining their Div 3 status, kept their disicpline, picked off their frees and then a goal with 5 minutes left to finish it out.

Two games left for CASTLE, Fossa at home in 2 weeks time and Na Gaeil in Tralee on July 5th to wrap up the League.

MORE THAN THE DARK CLOUDS LOOKING OMINOUS!

Ardfert firing over their 2pointers..and a lot more....Castle just not at their pace yet.....but there is a savage win at play....hoping for something special in the nxt 10 minutes......

Hectic pace to the game but Ardfert shooting well.....a goal from Timmy Moriarty just there to pull somthing back.
