DAY 1 – The Rebuild.

This was me getting ready for work last Friday .

What you can’t see is the panic attack I was trying to push down, the tears I wiped away, or the thoughts racing through my head.

In the space of a few weeks, my life has completely changed.

💔 A break-up after 9 and half years .
📦 Relocating home to cork .
✨ Building a business from scratch.
🤍 Supporting a sick family member.

I’m not sharing this for attention or sympathy.

I’m sharing it because social media so often shows the finished chapter, not the pages it took to get there.

This is my starting point.

I want to come back to this in 6–12 months and remember that even when life felt like it was falling apart, I kept showing up. I kept going. Theres dreams to chase and life to be lived .

S**T Storms don’t last forever. There will always be someone facing battles bigger than mine, and I’m grateful for what I do have. But this is my story, and I hope that by sharing the rebuild—the highs, the lows, and everything in between—it might remind someone else that it’s okay to start over too.

Here’s to rebuilding my life at 36.

The only way from here is up. 🤍

Life has thrown me a few unexpected curveballs lately, and for now I’m pressing pause on my GLP-1 journey.

This isn’t because I’ve given up. It’s because right now my appetite is already almost non-existent with everything that’s happening in my life, and I don’t feel it’s the right time to continue a medical weight-loss treatment.

Sometimes the strongest thing we can do is listen to our bodies and give ourselves grace instead of pushing through.

I’m incredibly proud of the progress I’ve made so far, and this is just a pause—not the end of my journey. When life settles down, I’ll be back.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me and cheered me on. ❤️

Here’s to putting health first, in every sense of the word.

Weeks 8–12 on GLP-1 💫

I’ve been a little quiet on here, so here’s a catch-up after five weeks away.

I’ve lost another 8lbs, bringing my total to 15lbs 🙌

I’m trying not to focus only on the numbers. I’ve noticed stress still causes bloating, which used to knock my confidence, but I’m learning that one tough week doesn’t undo progress.

Even on bloated days, my clothes fit better, I move more easily, and I feel more like myself.

I’m still tracking with Trim , haven’t had any side effects, and I’ve noticed a big shift with alcohol—I feel like I’ve had enough much sooner not in a drunk sense but just that i don’t want or need and enjoyed what I’ve had which is so different for me . I’ll also be slightly increasing my dosage to see how my body responds.

I’m wanting to add more weight training, and using the app’s classes alongside line dancing to build strength and stay consistent.

The biggest change isn’t just physical. My relationship with food feels calmer, my energy is steadier, and I’m being kinder to myself.

This journey isn’t about perfection—it’s about health, confidence, consistency, and sustainable habits.

15lbs down, but more importantly, I feel healthier and happier 🤍

Slow progress is still progress.
Healing counts too.

Week 7 on GLP-1 💫

1lb down this week, which brings me to half a stone overall — and another 2 inches off my waist too… that’s 6 inches gone in total so far 🙌

But honestly, the biggest changes aren’t just about the numbers.

I still haven’t had any side effects, I’m keeping track of everything on my .trim app, and something I never expected… I still have absolutely no interest in alcohol. My relationship with food, drink, and my body feels calmer for the first time in a long time.

And a little TMI, but I know so many women struggle with this too — my menstrual cycle is usually completely all over the place. I can go 2–4 months overdue, I’ve had scans, tests, the lot, and nothing ever really explains it. This month it was only a week out, which for me honestly feels like progress and like my body might finally be starting to feel a little more balanced.

I’m trying really hard to focus on health, energy, confidence, and feeling comfortable in myself again — not chasing perfection or punishing my body. This journey is about looking after me, physically and mentally 🤍

Slow progress is still progress, and I’m happy with that.

Healing counts too.
And your worth is never measured by a scale ✨

Some of you may have seen on my stories that I’ve started a new journey 🤍

18+ years in the beauty industry, I finally decided to bite the bullet and follow a dream I’ve had for a long time — training in Semi Permanent Makeup to create soft, natural treatments that enhance confidence and complement natural features.

Beauty and makeup was always something I grew up around from my mum and grandmothers 🤍 My nan, who always called me her swan / swanny river, was never without her lipstick or brows — especially her lipstick. Swans also symbolise transformation, strength and elegance, which felt so fitting for this new chapter. We shared such a love for beauty and makeup. She always used to joke, “bury me with my lipstick” (which I did), so I know she would have been absolutely blown away by permanent makeup.

I’ll now be offering Lip Blush & Semi Permanent Brows through Swan Studio in both Ayr and Cork ✨ This weekend I’m holding my very first Cork clinic, which already feels so surreal.

Honestly, I’ve felt excited, terrified, overwhelmed and proud all at once building this… but I’m already so grateful for all the support and encouragement.

Thank you for following along while I grow something that means so much to me 🤍

Week 6 🤍 GLP-1

So happy to see things moving a bit more again ✨
Down 1.5lbs this week 🤍

Definitely noticing I need to stay on top of the basics more now though — especially water (give me 2 litres of sangria no bother, but water is a chore 🤣) and protein. I’ve upped my protein, but still need to consistently hit my goals properly.

I’ve also gone completely off alcohol. Tried a beer and a gin over the weekend, took 2 sips of each and had zero interest 🙈🤣 First time in my life I’ve been throwing alcohol down the sink.

Also keeping it honest… the constipation is real 😅🙈 so figuring out what helps and what my body needs as I go.

Still learning that this journey is about balance, consistency and feeling my best — not perfection 🤍

Week 5 🤍

Down 1 pound this week — slow and steady, but still moving in the right direction.

Measurements definitely tell a different story though… down another 10 inches, bringing it to 18.5 inches lost in 5 weeks 🤯

I’m really starting to notice how much better I feel in myself overall.

The higher dose has definitely reduced the food noise even more, so now I need to focus on hitting my protein goals and drinking more water going forward.

I also had a christening last week and didn’t drink alcohol at all, which is very unlike me 😅 It’s strange noticing how much my mindset around food and drink is changing naturally. Its not that i cant drink but i want this to work so making better choices and i can enjoy myself with or without a drink .

Dreams are still vivid but lessening .
Not bunged up yet so many saying they have that so need to watch my fibre Aswell make sure I’m getting enough .

Still learning as I go and figuring out what works best for me 🤍 but defiantly putting everything into the trim app and hitting protein and water goals this week

Progress is progress ✨

Week 4 🤍

Down 0.5lb this week — slower again, but still moving in the right direction and I’m happy with that .

I’ve started the next dose now and definitely noticing a difference… feeling much more restricted and the food noise is completely gone. Such a strange sensation.
Having vivd dreams as well which is ment to be common .
Still getting used to it all and figuring out what works best for me at this stage.

Focusing on staying consistent, eating well and just taking it week by week. Will show you the .trim app over the next few days on my stories .

Doing this for me, while still liking myself as I am 🤍

Progress is progress 🤍

Week 3 🤍

Down 1lb this week — slow, but still moving in the right direction.

Feeling a bit more settled into it all now and just taking it week by week.

Still no real side effects, just the odd headache if I haven’t drank enough water — so definitely learning to stay on top of that. I’ve started adding electrolytes as well which seems to be helping.

I’ll be moving up a dose now, so interested to see how that goes over the next while. The price does increase as you move up, so something to be aware of too.

Still focusing on consistency, using the .trim app more — and they’re launching workout classes soon which I’m looking forward to.

This is just something I’m doing for me — not because I don’t like the version of myself now, but because I want to feel my best and work towards long-term goals 🤍

Progress is progress 🤍
