Killmacud Crokes claim 1st ever All-Ireland Camogie 7's Cup title!

The eve of the All-Ireland Camogie Final always means a trip to Páirc de Búrca, with 38 teams taking part between Cup, Plate and Shield Competitions.

The Cup Final brought joy for Dublin as the host club Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club claimed the Proinsias O Cróinín Cup for the first time ever when they defeated Craughwell of Galway on a scoreline of 6.8 to 3.8. Dublin Treasurer, Sinéad Mc Neela, presented the Player of the Tournament Award to the Craughwell goalkeeper Lauren Gilligan and the cup to the victorious Crokes captain, Izzy Davis.

Castleknock were thrilled to accept a bag of sliotars from FODHC recently!

Members of FODHC drove 452km to deliver sliotars to 16 Clubs in Dublin who brought 30 or more juveniles to the Leinster Senior Hurling Final. From Cuala on the Southside to Wild Geese in North County Dublin it was quiet the adventure! It was wonderful to see so many young boys and girls enjoying hurling and camogie thanks to dedicated volunteer mentors.

A Dart trip took FODHC to the lovely Naomh Barróg CLG, a club with approx 1,400 members. Barróg are one of the few clubs who have a pitch of their own with the club a real hive of activity! Their next major project is a gym that will be up and running by 2027!

FODHC enjoyed another road trip to Clanna Gael Fontenoy, former club of FODHC Chairperson Eugene Davey. A very enthusiastic group of juvenile boys and girls were delighted to receive a bag of sliotars from FODHC. The sea-side club has been enjoying a renaissance in hurling and camogie recently and we wish them well in the road ahead.
