Walshy's fun runs for Barnardos

Walshy's fun runs for Barnardos I've decided to get fit this summer, in doing so i'm training to run in the Dublin Marathon on Oct 31st 2011. If I don't kill myself.

During my training I'll be taking part in three races during the summer in July, August and September in which i'll be running for Bernardos Ireland. Not only will I be running in these events but I will wear the most ridiculous outfits I/we can think of. I'll wear spandex shorts, onesies, mankinies whatever you throw at me!! Pretty much I'm going to take the mick out of myself while runnning in t

hese events. The inspiration for this has been taken from my recent season in France where the worse you looked the better. Here is a taste of what outfits i'm talking about...

For the first race I will be wearing some retro ski gear as I run 5 miles through the Pheonix park. For the other races I will wear whatever suggestions people throw at me. (No nudity tho, it's a family event!)

Race 1: July 16th - 5 mile
Race 2: August 20th - 10 mile
Race 3: September 17th - Half marathon.
