Last of the vases trimmed up, studio nice and clean for the new year. I’m all done and going to have a nice long break ! Hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and il back at it with more potting in the new year! Talk to yas then. Dan x .

Large moon vase raku fired. Could not be more please with how this turned out! Didn’t think it would survive as it’s thrown in two pieces and Iv had a few pots come apart in the raku but this one did 👏👏. In other news i am taking down the shop tomorrow at 12 so tonight and tomorrow morning is the last chance to make an order before I send off the final packages of the year 👌👍

⛰⛰ From earth to table ⛰⛰ Directed and shot by . We filmed this a couple months back with the intention of capturing the pottery process in a more cinematic way. This short film shows how I make one of my ramen bowls from local clay. and I spent a lot of time on this project(especially Shane ) and I’m really proud of it! Teapot in bronze with custom forged handle. This and a couple of pieces just went up the web shop they were one kiln to late for the last shop update and I only got around to photographing them today! I spent the day rearranging my room where i take photos as the light has changed so much in the last couple of weeks, it’s now nice and neat and lots of flowers and grasses drying in vases to keep up some colour for the coming months🍂🌾.

Cured salmon, oyster emulsion, crispy wakame, pickled fennel.
Handbuilt plate in sandstone, these plates have given me a whole heep of trouble! I’d say Iv made about 30 and 6 survived 😐 warping and twisting whist drying ... nightmare.. but i got some good tips from fellow potters and I think I have a hold on them now🤞.

✨✨Shop update is live! ✨✨ .
Lots of pots up on my website. It’s nice for me to stop and take a moment to look at the progressions of my pottery over the last three and a bit years, I’m proud of this collection of work and excited to see what you all think of it🤗. Custom tea set that it currently on route to its new home 🏠 The amber / bronze glaze was Intended to look slightly different but I have tweaked it a bit and landed this gorgeous Matt finish with patches of glassy crackle where the glaze is applied slightly thicker 🧡.
