Delighted to be in the medals in the 5 Nations Fly Fishing Championships last week. A great team effort got us into third place and the longest fish was a nice bonus!! The Championships were held on lough lein, Kanturk and Gougane Barra, great venues great competition. 🎣🥉🥇

Nothing like a fresh leader...I've been using these camo flouro leaders from Soldarini Fly Tackle, they have been very successful during the low water and bright days. The leader has a random camouflage patern that really makes the leader disappear, essential for spooky fish and low, clear water

The spots on this guy are amazing...went to the lake introducing my brother into flyfishing...the lake was boiling with caenis eating trout. Managed this one after casting at multiple fish...multiple times!! Very exciting fishing, fun introduction to the sport 🎣🎣

Great morning session on the river this morning, nymphing with the Hydropsyche Nymphing rod provided great sport. 2mm copper beaded PTN the fly favoured most.
