Small businesses need logistics partners they can trust, especially when things go wrong.
I have been shipping with Amazon Shipping for the past 2 years, and this is the first time I have felt this disappointed with the way an issue has been handled.
I shipped a parcel through Amazon Shipping, properly packed and with the actual product value transparently declared.
But when the parcel came back as RTO, my products were missing — and there was a T-shirt inside instead.
I immediately raised the issue and submitted the dispatch photographs, final product photos and unboxing video as proof.
Yet, my claim was initially rejected by simply declaring it “ZERO LIABILITY.”
After multiple emails and follow-ups, the claim was eventually accepted only to some extent.
And the forward + return shipping charges are still not being refunded.
As a small business owner, this is what concerns me the most.
When a shipment is lost, we don't just lose the product.
We lose the product + shipping charges + return charges — and often still have to refund or replace the order for our customer.
So my question to Amazon Shipping is simple:
How did my products disappear and a T-shirt end up inside my parcel?
I have provided the evidence.
I am not asking for special treatment.
I am asking for a clear explanation, proper investigation and accountability.
Amazon Shipping — I hope you look into this beyond just applying a liability limit.
