I have written this practical book with the objective to serve as a ready reckoner to all Energy Auditors and cover all the latest advancements till date. My earlier book titled “Energy Auditing Made Simple” (2004) was well received by consultants, industries and engineers. Inspired by the roaring success of the book, 2 Volumes of “How to make money through Energy auditing” were released in 2010. A lot of developments have taken place over the past ten years in the digital world which forced me to revise the second edition of my book to 4000 pages. (A) Refresher course for EM/EA
Central Information commission has given directive to BEE yesterday to give specific provision of the relevant Act/rule under which EM/EA’s are required to undergo refresher course. As per my understanding of the Gazette notification of BEE dt.15 oct 2010, it is not required for EA’s and EM’s are not required to undergo tests. God is great!
(B) Success in Digital India
We are in a digital era. There are multiple problems facing mankind today, which were non-existent before. We should know how to survive in this digital world. We should be familiar with some of the digital tools we are gifted with now. We should know how to capitalize it for achieving success and maintaining work life balance. Moreover, as we move towards high technology, we need high touch to withstand the stresses of the modern world.

How to use the ISO 50001 standard:
1. Find out the relevant standards from the above figure according to the nature of industries and requirement of the customers.
2. Do Gap analysis for all standards as given in the book and find out the missing elements and rectify the missing details. Compile the report as per the Audit summary given in the book.
3. Prepare an ISO 50001 audit manual as given in the book and follow the manual on a daily basis.

I have written this practical book with the objective that it should serve as a ready reckoner to all Energy Auditors. With the passing of the Energy Conservation Act, 2001, there is a heavy demand for qualified Energy Managers and Energy Auditors.
I have added Life audit also along with energy audit since it is the foremost thing which was neglected by everybody. I am explaining it as a science and can be practised by anyone without much learning. This is the invention by me for the benefit of the people of the world. If you keep your hands on the affected parts, the problems will vanish. Unless work life balance is achieved, engineers cannot become successful people. At the age of 73 years , I am active because of that.

I have written this book with the idea that the parents and senior citizens of the world would get the benefit of the wonderful gift of God everyone has already got in their hands but is not known to them.
