One careless lapse of 1 minute turned onto a Sleepless night for our baby and us
Flight 6E 2738 from Delhi to Aurangabad turned into an exhausting and emotional ordeal for us
PNR: FU9ZGY
At check-in, Indigo staff told us one bagāa foldable baby swingāhad to go as āOG baggage.ā
But no one explained the process, infant i donāt know what OG even mean
They issued our boarding passes, and we cleared securityāthinking everything was sorted. Ideally Boarding passes shouldnāt have been handed over with the sticker of the baggage until the staff ensures necessary process is over
25 minutes later, we got a call:
āCome back to the counter. Otherwise bagage would be stuckā
I had to leave my wife with our 8-month-old baby, 8-year-old son, and four hand bagsāwhile I ran 600+ meters back through CISF formalities to fix what shouldāve been handled right at the counter.
We barely made the flight.
But our swing didnāt.
Despite correct tags and documentation after going downstairs to do OG personally, the swing was never loaded on the flight.
No update. No accountability.
And when I called?
āMy shift is over,ā was the response.
Weāve had two sleepless nights sinceābecause our baby doesnāt sleep without that swing.
Some may find this silly. But parents know:
What seems small to others means the world to us.
We plan, pack, and prepareābecause our children depend on it.
6e ā this isnāt just about a bag.
Itās about being heard. Itās about empathy.
Itās about trusting an airline and feeling let down when it mattered most.
Please make this right.
For us. For our baby.
