Open to Work by Ryan Roslansky and Aneesh Raman is a practical and inspiring book about the future of careers in the age of AI. It explains how work is changing and why old career advice no longer works. I liked how the book gives simple steps instead of only talking about problems. The real-life examples make it easy to connect with the message. It shows how AI can be used as a helpful tool, not something to fear. Overall, this book is useful, clear, and perfect for anyone wanting to grow and stay confident in their career.

Intergalactic Feast by Lavanya Lakshminarayan is a fun and creative sci-fi story filled with food, emotions, and big dreams. I loved how the book mixes cooking with space and technology in such a unique way. Saraswati and Ko are strong characters, and their journey feels exciting and emotional.

The idea of Feast, a food simulation, is fresh and fascinating. The story also shows fame, pressure, and trust in a realistic way. The romance adds warmth to the plot. Overall, this book is imaginative, fast-paced, and perfect for readers who enjoy science fiction with heart.

Reading Haiku, Me and You (I Love You) felt especially close to my heart right now, as a new mom to my six-month-old daughter. Every page mirrors the quiet, fleeting moments I’m living through—morning cuddles, soft giggles, tiny routines that already feel precious.

A haiku is a short Japanese poem of 3 lines (5-7-5 syllables). They’re special because they capture simple moments beautifully. This hardcover feels like a delicate piece of art.

The grandmother–child bond in the book gently reminded me of how my mother every single day loves amd takes care of my daughter. It reminds me how love flows across generations, and it made me pause and soak in these days more mindfully. There are 24 haiku pieces each written for each hour of the day!

The illustrations are simply adorable! Soft, calming, and consistent in their white, green, and red palette, which gives the book a soothing rhythm of its own.

It’s not just something to read, it’s something to feel. Holding this book, I felt like I was holding a collection of small, beautiful memories, exactly the kind me, my daughter and my own mother are creating every day now ❤️

I love reading Satyajit Ray’s stories. He was a legend. Being a Bengali, I truly cherish them. There are Feluda’s detective stories, Professor Shonku’s science fiction tales, and then Tarini Khuro’s mysterious, mind-boggling adventures into darker worlds. In my younger days, I mostly enjoyed them through Radio Mirchi’s Sunday Suspense. Did you know that some of them are still available on YouTube?
This edition gathers all 15 Tarini Khuro stories in English, many for the first time. Some I already know. Few were new and so entertaining. Love the illustrations!

There are few books that help children learn such beautiful and essential life lessons in such a lovely way, I truly feel amazed! This book is one of them. It shows why it is good to be kind and helpful. If people are helpful in society, everybody takes care of each other.
It follows a little girl whose mother is very sick and has lost her sense of taste. When her mother tries local remedies like eating amla, she starts craving Rudga🍄, a type of mushroom that grows there. The girl sets out early, but along the way she meets people who need help. By the time she finally reaches the forest, there are no mushrooms left. But what happens next truly fills the heart. 🤍
I feel children would love having this book read to them, and they can learn life lessons in a joyful way through its cute, colourful illustrations.

Live better daily.
The Longivity Code is helpful because it shows simple ways to stay healthy for a longer time.

Well researched, it teaches that living strong matters more than just living long.

You learn how small habits, like eating well, moving your body, and managing stress, can improve your life.

It also helps you understand your body better and make smarter choices. The book reminds you that health is built every day.

By the end, you feel more aware, more in control, and ready to take care of yourself.

India’s food changes every few kilometres, reflecting its rich cultures. We first taste this diversity through school tiffin boxes, each carrying stories of home and tradition.

Now food is something that makes me happy! When I am sad, Sone tasty stuff soothes my soul, similarly if I am happy, I amplify my joy with food ! 🤣So this book feels like a joyful time to read, celebrating food! And the pages make me crave more! 🤤

The Great Indian Tiffin Box explores dishes from every state and union territory, sharing recipes and facts. This makes it a lovely read for anyone curious about India’s food heritage.

Being a bengali, I am a food enthusiast for shre. The mention of Dhokar Dalna, Posto Bata in the West Bengal chapter felt so close to my heart. These are cooked at our home on regular basis and these are the dishes I highly cherish having, made by my ma and baba. In sweets, mishti doi and chanar jilipi made me crave!

I would love to try out the recipes from other states as well. Sattu ka sarbat i love making at home its a popular thing of bihar. Have tasted Litti chokha once. But I want to try making filter coffee at home now, which a popular beverage in the states of South India.

Such a beautiful compilation for food connoisseurs, which I absolutely loved specially the illustrations. I think its not only for kids but adults would highly enjoy reading it and having it in their book collection.

Look around the next time you’re in a cafe, everyone there is carrying a story.Wait, what if that person sitting alone has a story you’ll never know? Some people don’t speak their stories, they just sip them slowly. This isn’t just a book, it’s a table full of untold lives. Fifteen strangers. Zero filters. Just raw, real moments.

The first story is about a young writer who is at a cafe. Her pen cannot pour her emotions onto paper, but then she notices an artist, fully absorbed in his work. What happens next, in those silent glances and quiet sips, made my heart feel a soft ache..I don’t know why. I kept thinking, maybe Kala felt that too while she wrote and deleted it at 2 am?
Table no. 2’s story is about two couples who don’t know what to do anymore. Still, the feelings remain. But this story felt okayish too me. But I absolutely liked the writing style it flowed backwards in time. Table no. 3 is about memories, friendship, and the little things that keep friends connected. Table no. 8 is about a single parent, a dad. While everybody has an opinion about what he cannot do, the things that make him enough for his child made my throat choke. I could feel him. I visualized those moments with him, which I can now relate to as a new mom of a 6-month-old girl.

This book is well thought out. Emotional, heartfelt stories about what makes us human. Each reminded me how much people carry around.

The story about Megha and her employees at her workplace felt like a real-life check on the corporate world. Does this world value trusted friendships, or is it all about climbing the success ladder, anyhow, by hooks and crooks?

The writing style is very good, crisp, clean, and to the point, while presenting every single nuance with clarity.

I kept thinking about the people even after I closed the book. The quiet moments hit harder. Those unfinished sentences...., those parts felt very real.

Some stories made me a little heavy, some gave a soft kind of comfort. With few I felt deeply connected while couple of them just felt very ordinary. But its like a bouquet of flower, with each flower having its own identity. If you enjoy calm, quiet stories, pick it up.

An anthology where the words take you to a land forgotten in your heart where something remains that doesnot want to fade, even if forgotten may be, but it flows like a river... silently crossing the ridges of memories...

These poems bloom and bruise at once, part nostalgic, part melancholic... quite metaphorical... some I cluld comprehend other naturally I couldnot but few haunt, softly when I sit back and let them sip in...

Between ache and afterlight the words murmur of something that doesnot fade... that remains...

While I was reading the poems, this music was flowing in my mind! I went to the deserts, travelled and met the masaai and the continents raw beauty through the pages!

Africa is a world of its own with its immense diversity, our human ancestors evolved from there about 200000 years ago and the poems in this beautiful book are like an ode to it, the poems present the continent in their rhymes. From Deserts to forests, from different tribes to its raw beauty hidden in their people it brings the essence of africa! What an unique book! Love the compilation! I love the cover as well as its thoughtfully made with the colours that remind me of its diversity and flags of various nations its comprised of. It moves from ancient history to modern city life, highlighting culture, leaders, and everyday spirit. The book challenges common stereotypes and offers a fresh, thoughtful way to understand Africa’s depth, diversity, and lasting influence on the world. If you like exploring cultures, you cannot miss this collection!
