25 years.
Almonds were never just an ingredient in our kitchen.
They were something you paid attention to.
I remember watching mom roast them not by timer, not by colour charts.
By sound. By smell. By that exact moment when they felt ready.
And then, she would still pick through them.
One by one.
Keeping some, setting some aside.
At that time, it felt excessive.
Today, it feels like the whole point.
Because the chocolate only holds as well as what goes into it.
The texture, the bite, the way it stays together.. it all begins there.
No shortcuts, no assumptions. Just care, repeated every single time.
That’s where I first understood what consistency really means.
25 years later, the process hasn’t changed.
And neither has the intent behind it. 🎂

25 years wow!

I only remember I could wrap a box just fine. But the bow, I could never get right.
It would sit a little off.

And then I’d watch my mother tie one.

Same ribbon. Same box.
But suddenly, it all felt different.
The box softened. It felt complete.

Nothing else had changed. Just the bow.

That’s where it stayed with me of
how one small detail can carry the entire feeling.
