Sadar Bazar, Agra Sadar Bazaar is one of the most popular shopping destinations for the tourist visiting Agra. Sadar Bazaar, Agra is located to the west of Khari Baoli.

Sadar Bazaar is a highly reputed market in the city of Agra. The market is a specialty destination for different handicraft items as well as the famous Agra shoes and other leather products. Agra is the best place to buy leather and marble goods. The market opens at around 11:00 in the morning and closes at around 9:00 at night. The major activity is in the evening when the streets are filled with locals and foreigners alike, looking for a bargain. The market is closed on Tuesdays.

सदर बाजार में आज छावनी परिषद् द्वारा एक नया प्रयोग करते हुए सदर बाजार स्टेज के सामने की पार्किंग में सौन्दर्यीकरण के नाम पर पूरी तरहा बंद करते हुए आज no parking zone बना दिया गया ।

जिसका सदर बाजार के दुकानदारों ने पूरजोर विरोध किया । छावनी परिषद् की इस योजना के विषय में पूर्व में भी चार्चाओ के दोरान सदर बाजार एसोसिएशन (SBTA) ने हर बार अपना पक्ष रखते हुए यही कहा की सौन्दर्यीकरण करने नाम पर पार्किंग की जगह कम नहीं करी जानी चाहिए, हम सौन्दर्यीकरण करने के पक्ष में हें लेकिन पार्किंग की कीमत पर नहीं ।

इसके बावजूद छावनी परिषद् ने आज no parking zone बना दिया । इससे सदर बाजार के दुकानदारों भारी रोष उत्पन्न हुआ और सभी दुकानदार एकीकृत होकर पैदल मार्च करते हुए छावनी कार्यालय गये लेकिन अवकाश होने के कारण कोई अधिकारी नहीं मिलें, फिर सभी दुकानदार जिलाधिकारी महोदय से मिलने के उद्देश्य से Collectrate पहुँचे वहाँ भी ADM city से ही मुलाकात हो पाई उन्होंने पूरी जानकारी लेकर दुकानदारों के हित में निर्णय देने का आशवासन दिया ।

इस प्रकरण में डॉ॰ धर्मेश व केशव मैहरा जी ने भी दुकानदारों का सहयोग किया । उन्होंने इस मसले पर रक्षा मंत्री से भी चर्चा करी चूंकि वह पहले से ही आज उनसे मिलने के लिए दिल्ली में थे ।

इस सब के बाद जब दुकानदार वापस सदर लोटे तभी छावनी परिषद् से कर्मचारियों ने आकर no parking zone के banner हटा दिया । इससे फोरी तोर पर तो दुकानदारों को राहत मिल ग्ई । लेकिन अंतिम निर्णय होने तक विरोध जारी रखने के लिए सदर बाजार के दुकानदार ने कमर कसी हुई हें ।
