Three gunned down, two injured over land dispute in Karachi

KARACHI: Three people were gunned down and two other sustained bullet wounds over land dispute in Karachi, KBC News reported on Tuesday.

According to the local police, fire were opened between two groups Karachi’s area of Gulshan-e-Maymar, resulting in death of three and injuries to two others.

Additional Police Surgeon, Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, Dr Saleem Shaikh said three people succumbed to their bullet wounds on the way while being shifted to the hospital, while two others critically injured are under treatment.

“The incident took place over land dispute, no arrests were made so far”, said SHO Gulshan-e-Maymar.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Malir Irfan Bahadur said, efforts underway for the arrest of the assailant.

Earlier on March 26, three people were shot dead and four other sustained bullet injuries over matrimonial dispute in Rajanpur district of Punjab.

PDP worker shot at by gunmen succumbs to injuries

Mehbooba condemns killing, calls attackers cowards

A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)activist who was shot at by unknown gunmen last night in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district died at a hospital in Srinagar.

Mohammad Jamal Bhat (69) was fired at by masked gunmen at his home in Zungalpora village in Devsar area of the district following which he was shifted to SKIMS Soura in a critical condition.

“He had critical bullet injury in his abdomen and was operated upon but succumbed in the morning,” doctors at the facility confirmed.

Bhat’s body reached his native village in the afternoon after which he was laid to rest.

CTD seizes three su***de jackets, arms from Hub

KARACHI: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) team has arrested two facilitators of the terrorists and recovered three su***de jackets and cache of arms from their possession in Hub, KBC News reported n Tuesday.

As per details, the operation was conducted in Balochistan’s area of Hub.

The arrested were facilitators of the terrorists, who were planning to carryout massive terror activity in the city during current holy month of Ramazan, said CTD officials.

It may be recalled that the security forces on Monday, busted the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) network involved in destablising Pakistan from Gilgit-Baltistan.

The intelligence agencies had foiled the attempt to spread anarchy in Gilgit and Baltistan. It was revealed that the RAW mentored Biloristan National Front (Hameed Group) in Gilgit-Baltistan, a nationalist party.

Sindh Rangers apprehend six suspects in Karachi

KARACHI: Sindh Rangers nabbed six suspects during a raid in Karachi, ARY News reported.

The spokesperson of Sindh Rangers said the captured suspects were involved in various incidents of robberies in the metropolis. He said weapons, rounds and looted valuable items were recovered from their possession during raid in Ferozabad area.
