The 1968 one-cent coin, minted in Denver — as you can see, is in good condition.
However, it has a very noticeable mint error.
Now, where the mint workers’ attention was back then, I really don’t know 😉
I have no idea 🙃

But tell me, how much do you think this coin is worth now?
It has a very special “out of frame” error,
and even the number 8 looks suspicious,
because none of the other digits or letters show this kind of striking mark,
and there’s no impact mark anywhere else on the coin.

So how did the number 8 end up like this?
Again, I have no idea 😉
