Talos Miniatures just finished next miniature for silesian/bohemian pavise infantry set. Like with the previous mini, i'm posting historical sources that were used to compose this infantryman.
Helmet is based on authentic finding that is currently keeped at Duchcov Museum in Czech Republic. Said kettlehelmet is from middle of XVth century. Main weapon is Messer of Moravian type which was found in Gorzów Śląski. Rondel dagger is inspired by art from manuscript "Legend of Aurea" from 1446 (Vienna). Arms armour is inspired by Bohemian Resurrection painting from 1420-1430. Pavise shield is based on original pavise from city arsenal of Wrocław.

Updated: We are working on next set. Pavise infantry that will be strongly grounded in lands of Bohemia and Silesia, alas it could also fit into any neighboring lands. This set will have 1440's focus, so it will fitting end of Hussite Wars, Battle of Warna and early years of 13 years war between Teutonic Order and Kingdom of Poland. When we work on miniatures, we dig into historical sources and .miniatures is turning our project into beautiful sculpts, transfering history into wargaming. Presented soldier hold in hand throwing axe based on 15th century artifact from Racibórz, very similiar axe was find also in Hungary. Helmet and maille are based on Crucifixion Triptych from Gać (In Silesia) which was made around years 1440-1460. His pavise is based on 15th century shield from Wrocław. This soldier will be armed with sidearm (it's just not there yet) that's also rooted in local historical sources.

After long shift behind a wheel, i sit down in my apartment and send all European customers their tracking number via ko-fi.

Alas, sadly there is a issue with parcels to the United States, to be clear - all of them are on their way, as a priority letters, but we don't have option to get any tracking numbers for them. Reason for that is policy of national post - they refuse to handle ANY parcels to the United States, only letters. All cost differences were return to Your accounts via Paypal, in theory it should take 10 working days to reach You. We send to You messages on ko-fi with information that will allow You identify letter from us. If there will be any problems, letter will not reach You, or it will be send back, we offer full money return or sending order again via Fedex on our behalf. Let us know also if everything will went well.
The annoying thing about this, is fact that private companies that provide service of delivering parcels to U.S are expensive. This time we manage to send parcels as a letters, but we cannot treat it as rule. All future orders to U.S will be provided via Fedex, but we will be keep looking for more optimal solution for U.S customers.

Hello! We find cheaper shipping service and we refund difference (8-10 euro per shipping) to everyone who place order yesterday and today before change of shipping price. It was already done this morning, so all who place order should have their money back. As a form of apologies, we also going to send You an extra free mini that was not yet relased. It is heavy infantryman armed with warhammer and pavise shield, he is fitting our product line.
