Yes, we are known for Burano lace. The hand, however, has more than one language.
In our atelier, personalisation becomes part of the object: a monogram, initials, a family mark, a small sign designed to belong to one person, one home, one boat, one guest suite. These towels are embroidered by hand, made to order, and finished with the same eye we bring to lace. A detail so private it almost disappears — until the linen is yours.

This Burano lace piece is built around contrast: a centre in extremely fine linen, and a border worked in the “Sbari” stitch, precise, open, unmistakably made by hand. Details are where other people enter your life.
A cushion used for work. A drawing corrected by hand. A parcel prepared for someone who will open it in another country, another room, another day. The making of handmade lace is also made of these passages: practical, ordinary, exact. Someone bends over a line. Someone chooses the wrapping. Someone checks the final edge. The object leaves the atelier carrying more than its material. It carries the trace of having been looked after.

You are not coming to Burano for the lace only.
Come early enough and the island shows a different side of itself: shutters still closed, colours before the crowds, the leaning bell tower holding the square in its strange geometry. Around it, the lagoon remains almost geological — a landscape of water, mudflats and low horizons shaped since the last Little Ice Age. Burano is often reduced to colour. In the morning and again at dusk, it becomes something more exact: a place where land, water, work and beauty still belong to the same sentence.

Knowledge can also be the moment when the mind stops scattering. In handwork, attention has somewhere to go. Nothing excessive, nothing improvised. The table is set before the guests arrive, the deck is already warm, the glasses catch too much light, someone comes up from the water still speaking in a lower voice.
On a yacht, elegance is measured by what remains effortless under full sun. A white table, handmade details, summer doing the rest.
