The tradition of Giorgetti goes back to more than 100 years ago when it started its activity in Brianza and it still forges ahead with innovation, conserving the patrimony of its experience in cabinet making. The uniqueness of Giorgetti lies in its capacity to make quality and innovation parts of its life. A Giorgetti ambient never appears as an aseptic space, devoid of personality, on the contrary it transpires elegance, sobriety and decisiveness. Its furnishing style can be immediately identified and defined as ‘the Giorgetti style’, unique and original, characterised at the source by its atypical uniqueness. Homo Faber 2026 returns to the Fondazione Cini in Venice for its fourth edition. “An Island of Light” celebrates the transformative power of light through the finest expressions of contemporary craftsmanship.

Among its main exhibition spaces, “A Feast of Light” transforms the Refettorio Palladiano into a luminous landscape, where a long glowing table brings together translucent creations and a vertical line of white light recalls a ray of sunlight slipping through a narrow opening.

Placed along both sides of the installation, Giorgetti’s Summa poufs feature luminous white fabrics in shades selected by artistic director Es Devlin, creating a subtle rhythm throughout the historic space.

A special window at Giorgetti Spiga – The Place celebrates our first participation in Homo Faber, bringing the story of Summa from Venice to Milan.

Designed by Giancarlo Bosio, the pouf is presented in the exclusive Homo Faber edition created for ‘A Feast of Light’ at the Cenacolo Palladiano, featuring luminous white fabrics and shades selected by the artistic director Es Devlin.

Its pure cylindrical form is deconstructed and rebuilt through vertical elements, creating a three-dimensional composition of materials and textures. At its heart, leather meets carefully selected fabrics through precise sartorial craftsmanship, making each Summa a unique expression of Giorgetti’s 128 years of manufacturing expertise.

Marking a new milestone in the brand’s growing presence on the international cultural scene, Giorgetti participates in Homo Faber 2026, “An Island of Light,” taking place in Venice from 1 to 30 September .

Held every two years at the Giorgio Cini Foundation, Homo Faber is an international event dedicated to high-end craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence, bringing exceptional skills and creative expression into the spotlight.

Within the Refettorio Palladiano, the installation “A Feast of Light” features ninteen Summa poufs, interpreted in luminous shades of white and embellished with fabrics specially selected by Es Devlin.

For Homo Faber 2026, in the ‘Refettorio Palladiano’ and as part of the installation ‘A Feast of Light’, the Summa pouf is presented in luminous shades of white, specially selected by artistic director Es Devlin.

Born from an exploration of geometry and matter, the Summa pouf creates a refined three-dimensional effect. Sartorial craftsmanship brings together up to three materials, revealing the sophistication behind its apparent simplicity.
