You asked for it! 👏🏻

I gathered MORE content tips for you! But this, flower farmer/grower focused.

Because next to weeding, watering, harvesting, sowing, propagating and all other things that need to be done.. who has time to come up with content inspo?

Feel free to steal these and make them your own!

I can’t wait to see all your seasonal flower tips, dahlia digging timelapses & muddy selfies 🧟‍♀️

Found this post helpful?

SHARE it to inspire your fellow growers 👌🏻🌿

(need more tips? Find part 1 on my feed!)

What’s your favourite colour palette? 👇🏻

This post was made possible by another heatwave, lol. Because once it got too hot to edit the new video for my online school, I fled to my cool(ish) studio.

The plan was to create lots of content to feed the algo beast..

But a fried brain can only do so much 🥵

So I didn’t make bouquets.
No arrangements either.
No colourful tablescapes.

My creativity just wouldn’t have it today 🧟‍♀️

But I didn’t want this afternoon to go to waste (also.. I REALLY didn’t want to go upstairs or outside because of the heat lol).

So I stayed in my studio full of flowers. And I literally went through my buckets to look for some fun colour combos.

Some inspiration for my future self - and you! There is SO much more than soft pastels & peach flowers 🎨

Now, tell me.. what’s your fave combination of these 10?

All local, seasonal & pesticide free flowers via De coöperij soest in my hometown 🌸

Ammi right?! 😏 (pun intended)

Proudly walked home with some golden treasures for a new video, while he held his distance and looked the other way 😆

In my hands: thlaspi, cornflower & achillea. Not pictured: the ginormous bunch of wild mustard seedpods I snatched 5 min later.

Heatwave inspired tablescape class coming to my membership soon! Get on the waitlist 👏🏻🌾

Florists: this one’s for you!

You know when you see a post and you’re like: “How did they know I needed this?!” 👀

Well.. this is one of those posts.

Something (okay, my own personal frustration about this app, lol) told me you needed some inspiration for your social media content.

So I brainstormed and put together this list for you 🤓

If you’re struggling to come up with topics to talk about here, this is gonna help you BIG TIME.

Use these topics as your starting point and inject some much needed new energy into your account.

Oh and FIY: it’s tooooootally okay to repeat topics throughout the year. Repetition = recognition 👏🏻

SAVE THIS POST for the next time you’re dead tired and about to upload a flower photo with the caption ‘flowers are pretty I guess’. You can add more value to your audience than that!

Also.. the photos don’t always have to match the caption. There, just saved you another headache 👍🏻

What do you think?

Should I create a part 2.. for flower growers? 😏🌿🪱

Honestly, it still hasn’t sunk in. But now that I have photos, the fever dream is feeling more real 🥹

Our wonderful Floral Artistry Retreat was one for the books. A fairytale, to be exact.

With our beautiful attendees as main characters. Don’t they look like actual flower fairies in these photos?! 😍

It really was as magical as it all looks.

In my opinion, even more magical ✨

Not because Kim didn’t capture our week perfectly, but because I was there to experience it in real life! Lol, small detail 😆

There was just so much LOVE in the air, I’ve been floating on it for weeks now. We supported each other, uplifted each other, held each other in every way.

Yes, it was hard work.
Yes, I made 19-20h days.
Yes, my voice gave up at the end of the week.

But oh YES, it was worth every single second.

From the hands-on classes, branding sessions, photography class, 1:1 mentoring to the delicious food, my talented guest educators, the foam free group installation and ALL THE LOCAL SLOW FLOWERS.. it was heaven 🙌🏻

We would do it all again in a heartbeat.

And guess what?!

We are!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Happy Summer Solstice 🌼🌞🌾

Here are some Solstice moments I shot on film over the years. The flower crowns are made on the longest day, a little personal tradition I might skip this year. We just got home from a family visit and it’s too hot to go pick flowers or grasses 😅

I will share a post in my stories that talks about all kinds of traditions throughout Europe. Bonfires, flower crowns & wreaths, dances, lake swims, fern quests and general unhinged behavior (lol). It’s an inspiring post for sure!

Enjoy the shift of the seasons, spend time outside, stay cool and to my SH friends; happy Winter solstice! 🌀🦋💫

Windowsill Wednesday, but make it a lush Summer garden urn. Created live, with members of my online school on the other side of the screen ☺️

Everything in here was grown max 4 minutes from my studio. And how Dutch of me.. I brought most of it home on my bike.

Big ‘happiness in life’ tip: ride around with a crate full of flowers. Instant smiles for yourself & everyone you pass 🚲💐

Here’s what I used:

Large vase with chicken wire & tape grid

Roses
Poppy
Foxglove
Acanthus
Sweet pea
Malva
Penstemon
Knautia Arvensis
Digitalis Lutea
Lavender Larkspur
Bean vines
Malus
Amelanchier berries
Viola (can you see her? 🕵🏻‍♀️)
Silene
Snowberry foliage
Dogwood foliage
Prunus foliage

Most flowers are from De coöperij soest - which is a tip for florists in Soest area! (not a public cutting garden, sorry)

Unknown pink rose from my friend/neighbour Maaike van der Meer, penstemon from our community garden, foxies from my own garden 🦊💗

You have until 1 July to join my online membership, after that the doors close until Autumn.

The replay of this class is waiting for you! As are 90 other design videos/mentor talks/makealongs/Q&A sessions 🤩

A collection of rain battered roses from our garden. Swipe to see a behind the scenes pic of how I created this flatlay 📷

Flatlays really are perfect way to use leftovers, short stems or fallen heads. And to keep track of what’s flowering right now! I really should do one at least every month. Maybe I will, now that I said this ‘out loud’.

Before you ask, the names I know are on the last slide.

The purple one míght be Rosengarten Zweibrücken, but I’m not 100% sure. I know it’s a Biologische Rozenkwekerij De Bierkreek rose that I bought at ᴋᴡᴇᴋᴇʀɪᴊ ᴅᴇ ᴀʀᴇɴᴅ, years ago.

Roald Dahl is one of my favourite roses and not well represented with those yellow remains. At all. Look her up, she’s a stunner! 💛

Everyone else was never formally introduced to me, so they will remain anonymous.

But it’s not about the names anyway.

It’s about the raindrops on that piece of foliage.
It’s about the way Cubana shifts from honey to peach to pink.
It’s about the pink water marks on Sally Holmes’s petals.

And it’s about creating beauty.

Maybe not a lush arrangement or giant installation this time. Maybe it’s something quicker, smaller, more modest. But it’s beauty nonetheless.

And feel free to disagree.. but I think it makes a pretty nice IG post too 😏

If you want to learn HOW & WHY to create flatlays, there’s a class in my online school! And there’s a new bouquet video class coming soon too, featuring some of these roses.

The doors to Anne’s Flower School will close in July and won’t open again until Autumn. So if you want to join my membership.. this is your time! 👏🏻

It’s a wrap! 💗✨

Our beautiful Floral Artistry Retreat (the 2026 Italy edition) is officially over. I’m at the airport, on my way back home.

My heart is full and my head is still processing everything that happened. It was a magical, busy, wonderful blur.

But a few things are perfectly clear:

🌸 How grateful I am for my right hand, my flower angel, the backbone of the entire retreat: Ana Maria . No words, just love.

🌸 How amazing my entire team was! Thank you for joining me, for guest teaching and for your excitement! (I can’t wait to see your gorgeous photos!)

🌸 The fact we were in SUCH good hands with . Working with you on this retreat has been an absolute dream. We will be back 👌🏻

🌸 How incredible seasonal & local flowers can be. We already knew that, but to work with all this beauty was just heavenly. Grazie mille to all flower growers!! 👏🏻

🌸 The clearest thing of all: my love for every single attendee! We did this for you. I know you felt it. The whole group was amazing, I’m so proud of all of you.

My biggest goal for this retreat was that people felt seen, heard, encouraged and held. And that’s exactly what happened. Thank you for opening up to me, for sharing your creativity and dreams with us, for uplifting each other. And for all your kind words & compliments. You understand my love language 😁🥰

I’m sure I will have more words later. If you want to see more photos, check my retreat highlight!

For now: a massive THANK YOU to everyone involved for making my & Ana Maria’s dream come true 💜

Want to hear about future workshops / retreats? Get on my mailing list!

See you soon,
Ciao!

xx Anne
