Abbiamo incontrato Rocco Ragni a Colle Umberto, borgo cinquecentesco a pochi chilometri da Perugia, visitando sia il laboratorio produttivo che la boutique. Il brand affonda le radici nel distretto perugino della maglieria, dove la lavorazione del cashmere è parte integrante del patrimonio manifatturiero locale. Rocco intreccia sapere artigiano e strumenti contemporanei, tradizione e visione: si definisce un “sarto 2.0”. Dal 2005 la maglieria resta il fulcro della sua ricerca: è lì che, nella sua visione, si misura con chiarezza l’autenticità del Made in Italy.
We met Rocco Ragni in Colle Umberto, a sixteenth-century village just outside Perugia, visiting both the workshop and the boutique. The brand is rooted in the Perugia knitwear district, where cashmere craftsmanship is part of the local industrial DNA. Rocco brings together hands and technology, tradition and vision. A “2.0 tailor,” as he defines himself. Since 2005, the brand has kept knitwear at its core, because that is where, in his own view, true Made in Italy reveals itself.
