⭐ TWO LES PAUL “BURSTS” ⭐

Today we’re happy to share these two extraordinary Gibson Les Paul Standards — one from our personal collection and one from the current inventory.

First, Alberto Radius’ personal 0-1944, which we restored a couple of years ago with an incredible team of luthiers: our Romano Burini, RUFINI | GUITARS, the amazing Joe Riggio , my late dear friend JW Guitar Restoration, with the fundamental contribution of Ken McKay.

And Cecil, serial 0-7668.

Cecil is a phenomenal example, offered for sale directly by the son of its original owner, all the way from South Africa.

Beyond its extraordinary tone, what particularly fascinates us is the combination of its super-dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, beautifully unfaded cherry finish and incredible three-dimensional figuring that seems to play peek-a-boo with the light.

This is the beautiful, unfaded cherry of the earlier Burst era — not yet the later “tomato” shade seen on some late-1960 examples. It also has a fantastic neck profile, not too thin, and is simply incredible to play.

A real stunner of a specimen.

Cecil was also the inspiration behind the incredible project we developed with our friend Nik Huber for the Nik Huber Guitars Aged Dolphin we presented to Kirk Hammett a couple of months ago.

⭐ 1965 & 1966 FACTORY BLACK STRATOCASTERS ⭐

Today we’re happy to share this stunning factory Black duo of Fender Stratocasters from the current inventory!

One is a November 1965 example with the desirable small headstock and a rare “double” custom color finish: Black over Charcoal Frost Metallic.

The other is a January 1966 Stratocaster, with classic black over white primer finish, and all late 1965 features.

Both are 100% original examples, preserving their factory finishes and specifications.

⭐ 1965 LAKE PLACID BLUE STRATOCASTERS ⭐

Today we’re happy to share these two stunning 1965 Fender Stratocasters in Lake Placid Blue, both currently available from our inventory.

One is a 100% original example, featuring a beautiful, deeply grained Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.

The other has been expertly restored by our luthier Romano Burini to its original Lake Placid Blue finish, while carefully preserving the original finish throughout the cavities. It also features a stunning dark Brazilian rosewood fingerboard and beautifully flamed maple neck.

⭐ 1968 LES PAUL GOLDTOP ⭐

A fresh vintage arrival at Cesco’s Corner Guitars! A stunning, 1968 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop, weighing exactly 4.5 kg. This is a genuine original example that spent part of its life fitted with a top-mounted Bigsby during the 1970s. The Bigsby has since been removed and is still included in the case pocket. All solder joints remain untouched, while the guitar retains its original parts and frets, making it a remarkably well-preserved late-’60s Goldtop.

⭐ NIK HUBER “THE 1960” PROJECT - START ⭐

We are incredibly proud to announce that construction has started on the first lot of “The 1960” Dolphins!!! This is a very special project designed by Nik Huber and Cescoscornerguitars, built in collaboration with the fine Rodgau craftsmen and our luthiers.

The concept behind “The 1960” was born from a very simple idea: take Nik’s iconic Dolphin design as the ultimate Artist’s canvas, to create something truly uncompromising, using the same philosophy, materials and specifications that made Kirk Hammett’s prototype so special.

For this first limited run, the essential specs:

🇧🇷 Brazilian Rosewood fingerboards from 1960s stock with CITES

🌳 One-piece highly flamed Mahogany bodies AND necks, carved from wood coming from the same tree, giving each instrument an extraordinary continuity of grain and character, all with Nik Hubers proprietary honey comb body construction. This is the same wood that was used for the Bernie Marsden series.

🍁 Selected, highly figured Maple tops, with some stunning one pieces ones personally selected from the private stashes of Francesco and Nik Huber.

“The 1960” is a tribute to the iconic solid bodies from the golden era with a modern interpretation, providing a lightweight guitar with incredible sustain, special woods, and excellency crafted directly inspired by the original Les Paul standard from 1960 nicknamed “Cecil,” with aged nitrocellulose “period-correct” burst finishes, St. Helen’s aged hardware, and ToneTeam custom-designed pickups. Every detail is treated with the same obsession for vintage instruments that defines Cesco’s Corner Guitars and ToneTeam Restoration’s work.

⭐ 1959 WANDRÉ WAID serial 24 ⭐

Just in !! A true holy grail of Italian guitar history.

Discovered directly from the son of its original owner in Novi Ligure, Italy, this extraordinarily early 1959 Wandré WAID model serial number 24 is a fully original, untouched example of Antonio “Wandré” Vandrè Pioli’s radical vision.

Hand-built in Cavriago, this is where guitar, sculpture and pop-art collide: hand-painted tribal artwork, golden side rim, purple-and-white swirl plastic superstructure, tortoise celluloid details and Wandré’s revolutionary metal neck.

One of the most spectacular Wandré instruments we have ever had the privilege to offer.
