I’ve embroidered the first of 50 VIP swag bags for GREENHOUSE Jersey 2026!

When I joined the GREENHOUSE committee, one of the things I wanted to improve was the swag bags. For the first three years, they were brown paper bags. They did the job, but I wanted to create something people would actually use again and could have GREENHOUSE all over it.

Last year, we changed things up and went for an everyday bag, which was the perfect size for taking your lunch to work. This year we’ve gone bigger. Think shopping bag / beach bag.

I'm bringing in the GREENHOUSE brand colours and making sure the bag compliments the (seriously good) contents going inside it.

I love a present that gets loved and used. As a gift giver, is that not a huge compliment? They wear the shirt you bought them or they use the bag you chose for them.

My client found the right gift! Our Storage Trug personalised with our knitting design was the PERFECT present for their sister. Tweaking the design slightly meant her name could be added too.

When it was first opened, her sister loved it but the real result is that she genuinely uses it for her crocheting supplies.

Making a gift bespoke to your loved one includes choosing a present in the right size/colour and personalising it.

They may prefer their initials, name, nickname, phrase, or bespoke design.

For the thread colour, would they prefer subtle or bold? Do they have a favourite colour to incorporate?

You can tailor the gift as much as you like. I've embroidered a duck on a bag and a squirrel on a rain jacket...no questions asked!

As I said in the Royal Court, you could add a mini bottle of fizz to a bridesmaid hamper, your favourite liquor to a birthday hamper, or a bottle of prosecco to a new home hamper. Make your hampers even more bespoke by adding their favourite tipple.

You've got to love the Jersey way though...
For the liquor licence to be granted I needed to fill out the application, attend the Parish Assembly, and attend Royal Court.
Then, I have to register myself as the liquor manager by filling out an application, meeting with the Parish Constable, and attending the Royal Court.
