Let’s talk Storm Emeralda real quick. I have had messages asking me for spares of EXs and ARs from the new set, but truth be told I haven’t bought any.
For those of you clutching on to your pearls, pick yourselves up. I am still planning on bringing the set to our rock of an island.
The reason we are not finding this set on shelves right now is simple: COST!
The hype since the set’s official announcement has been crazy, marketplace sellers priced the set in line with the anticipation.
Good news is, the vast majority of us felt the set was priced to high and held from buying.
Preorder figures were absolutely dismal.
Why is that a good news you ask? Well marketplace sellers are sitting on stock that’s not shifting, they have no options but to bring their prices down. If you look around Facebook and Instagram you’ll see a lot of sellers confirming drops in price across the board.
So save your hard earned cash fellow Ducklings, in the next few days the set will continue to drop in price and eventually become affordable enough to stock on your local shelves.
Rayquaza will soon be yours, patience my friends 💛
