Fabric transformation at its finest! 🌟✂️
There is so much story woven into every piece we create! One of our amazing students—a retired nurse—crafted this gorgeous hanging lantern table runner using fabric from nursing scrubs. Taking fabric rooted in care and healing and transforming it into glowing lantern blocks is such a beautiful picture of transformation, warmth, and lighting the way into a vibrant new chapter of life.
What a perfect symbol of new beginnings. Beautiful work! 🧵💙✨

We finished strong! 🏮✨
Yesterday was our final push, and look at these beautiful, finished lanterns. We mastered the self-binding technique to give each one a perfectly tidy edge, and we added a little appliqué technique with the tassels to add a little depth too!
I loved this project so much I made another one for myself too—look at how nicely it’s hanging in the picture!
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this lantern runner project. What a great time we had bringing these to life! 🏮🎊

Can you believe summer is winding down? It’s time to get ready for our full school-year session! Running from September through June, our weekly group classes offer fun, hands-on sewing projects, skill-building, and creativity all year long.
🗓️ Mondays Schedule (Starting Sept 14th):
Homeschoolers Class: Mondays from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Afterschoolers Class: Mondays from 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM
⚠️ Strict limit of 5 students per class to ensure every maker gets personalized instruction and dedicated guidance. Spots fill up fast!

Sew something SUNDAY! What projects are you working on? What ideas are you looking at? Today after church and lunch we had a lazy day so I rethreaded my coverstitch machine (that’s always a chore), and then finished up a few small projects!
