Osaka Art & Design総合プロデューサーであり、コダマシーン代表の増井辰一郎さんをお迎えし、「大阪、関西の文化について ― Osaka Art & Designを通して ―」をテーマにしたトークイベントを開催します。

現代美術、建築、デザイン、都市開発。

さまざまな現場を横断してきた増井さんとともに、大阪・関西の文化の現在地とこれからについて考えます。

トーク後には交流会も開催します。

We are pleased to welcome Shinichiro Masui, Representative of Kodama Scene and Executive Producer of Osaka Art & Design, for a special talk event on the theme:

“Culture in Osaka & Kansai — Through Osaka Art & Design”

Contemporary art, architecture, design, and urban development.

Together with Masui, who has worked across these diverse fields, we will explore the current state and future possibilities of culture in Osaka and the Kansai region.

A three-person exhibition that reexamines our existence—poised between life and death, nature and the artificial—through the distinct materials of flowers, monitors, and fabric.
Amid the turbulent flow of time, where the tactile sense of “being alive” is so easily lost, the exhibition seeks to reawaken that sensation. From a space where celebration and mourning, madness and beauty intersect, it vividly brings into focus the human condition—one that is shaped by society, yet always capable of deviation.

 Osaka Art & Design 2026 ⁡ 【ARTIST】 Maito Otake
Born in Tokyo. Completed the Doctoral Program in Sculpture at Tokyo University of the Arts. Through the creation of structurally organized objects, Otake materializes “actions” into physical form. His works are produced according to predetermined rules, and by repeatedly performing actions based on these instructions, he treats his own body as if it were a tool.

【Project Introduction】 “Maito Otake creates hollow sculptural works by hand-weaving fabric. Installed in the center of a city where subway lines intersect, the woven patterns extending vertically and horizontally throughout the work resonate with the flow of the city and its people, emerging as a symbol that interweaves time, memory, and culture while connecting them toward the future.”

熊谷卓哉と大竹舞人は、「鑑賞するスピード」「白い壁」「特権性」という3つの視点から、アートフェアという空間そのものを見つめ直します。

大竹は展示壁に穴を開け、その内部構造と作品を接続させることで、作品と空間の立場を反転させます。

熊谷はガチャガチャ型彫刻やカタログギフトを模した作品を通して、「所有する」「選ぶ」という体験そのものを作品化します。

普段は背景として見過ごされている構造を少しだけ露わにしながら、アートフェアの別の面白さや参加の仕方を探る展示です。

Takuya Kumagai and Maito Ohtake reconsider the very structure of the art fair through three perspectives: the speed of viewing, the white wall, and exclusivity.

Ohtake punctures the exhibition walls and connects their internal structures with his works, reversing the relationship between artwork and exhibition space.

Through gashapon-inspired sculptures and works modeled after catalog gifts, Kumagai transforms the experiences of “owning” and “choosing” themselves into artworks.

By slightly revealing the structures that usually remain unnoticed in the background, this exhibition explores alternative ways of experiencing and participating in the art fair.

【Artist Statement/作家ステートメント】
1992年生まれ、石川県出身。京都精華大学日本画専攻卒業。
日本画の技法を基盤としつつ、蛍光色を含むアクリルなど人工的なマテリアルへと移行。幼少期に親しんだテレビやゲームの視覚体験を起点に、現代的な感性を反映した絵画を制作する。
俯や横スクロール的構図による歪んだ遠近感を特徴とし、変形支持体や壁画など多様な形式で展開。歴史や社会、文化に潜む歪みやユーモアを風刺的に描き出す。
過去と現在、自然と人工、現実と仮想が交錯する風景を通じて、現代という時代を捉え直す視点を提示する。

【Exhibition Information】 ⁡ Solo Exhibition "The Game Started" ⁡ 【ARTIST】 Hokuto Ichibayashi /

【Exhibition Period】 April 29 (Wed) – May 23 (Sat), 2026

【Artist Statement】 Born in 1992 in Ishikawa Prefecture. Graduated from the Japanese Painting Course at Kyoto Seika University.
While grounded in the techniques of traditional Japanese painting, Ichibayashi has shifted toward the use of artificial materials such as acrylic paints including fluorescent colors. Drawing from visual experiences rooted in television and video games familiar from childhood, he creates paintings that reflect a contemporary sensibility.
His works are characterized by distorted perspectives inspired by bird’s-eye views and side-scrolling game compositions, and are developed through diverse formats including shaped canvases and murals. Through satirical depictions, he reveals the distortions and humor embedded within history, society, and culture.
By presenting landscapes where past and present, nature and artificiality, and reality and virtuality intersect, his work offers a perspective through which to reconsider the contemporary age.

【新スペースオープンと柿落とし企画のお知らせ】

新スペース-11人のメンバーからなる"イヒレナ"

"アートフェアは世界を変えられるのか？"&"アートの語り場"

【イヒレナについて】

イヒレナは、多様な11名のメンバーによって構成された文化生成の場です。人々が集い、学び、対話を重ねながら、新たな関係性や文化を育んでいきます。

「イヒレナ」という名前は、「お化け」という文字を崩すとカタカナの「イヒレナ」に見えることから名付けられました。時代や人に応じて柔軟に姿を変えながら、“化け続ける場所”でありたいと考えています。

本プロジェクトでは、その思想を象徴する存在として、建築事務所ONOSTUDIOによる、彫刻的でもあり建築的でもあるモニュメントを展開します。柔らかな素材が、化学反応を通して立体へと変化していくその姿は、人々が集まり、新たな文化や価値が立ち上がっていく営みを映し出しています。

【柿落とし企画概要】

アートフェアは、世界を変えられるのか？

Tokyo Gendaiフェアディレクター高根枝里氏によるトークイベントと、コレクターである播磨勇弥氏主催の「語り場」を融合したイベントを開催します。

この企画は、高根氏の言葉から始まりました。

「アートフェアを世界と対話し、より良い未来を作る場に」
世界中の人々が集まり、アートをきっかけに対話する。

その小さな積み重ねが、未来を変えていくのではないか。
そんな彼女の思いに共感し今回の企画に至りました。
トークで思想に触れ、語り場で関係をつくる。
その両方を一つの体験として設計しました。
