当園では毎年9月の創業記念日を茶の起源再考の機会として、
茶を、音と光で表現するTea+Light+Sound=“Tealightsound”というコンセプトのもと、
茶を感じるクリエイターの方々に音楽作品を制作していただいています。
本年は、創業百六十一年を記念する音楽作品といたしまして、
愛知在住の音楽家、Ramzaさんに制作いただきました。
また、マスタリングをKabamixさん、アートワーク、写真、デザインを画家の伊藤潤さんに手掛けていただきました。
9月21日（月）発売。1,500円（本体）。

Ramza 『cause/effect』 作品紹介
愛知県在住の音楽家 Ramzaが、茶をテーマに制作したアルバムを京都の茶問屋より発表
愛知県在住の音楽家 Ramzaが、茶をテーマに制作したアルバム『cause/effect』を京都の老舗茶問屋、宇治香園”Tealightsound”より発表する。前作『ひび割れの鼓動 hidden world code』で探求した静謐な音響からさらに踏み込み、鋭利で大胆な、驚異の音世界を現出させている。茶を直接的に表現するのではなく、世界そのものが原因と結果(cause/effect)のネットワークの産物であるという根源的な視座に立ち返り、茶に至る"原因"から、茶という"結果"を観察 / イメージして制作された。
マスタリングはKabamix(LMD)、アートワーク・写真・デザインは画家の伊藤潤が手掛けている。

[Commemorating Ujikoen’s 161st Anniversary]
Each September, on the occasion of our founding anniversary, we take a moment to reconsider the origins of tea.
Under the concept of “Tealightsound” — Tea + Light + Sound, we invite creators who share a deep connection with tea to express it through music.
For our 161st anniversary, we are pleased to present a new work by Ramza, a musician based in Aichi, Japan.

Ramza — cause/effect
Aichi-based musician Ramza presents cause/effect, an album created around the theme of tea, through Ujikoen’s “Tealightsound” project.
Moving beyond the quiet soundscapes of his previous work, hibiware no kodou — hidden world code, the album unfolds a bold and striking sonic landscape.
Rather than depicting tea directly, cause/effect explores tea as the “effect” of an interconnected network of causes—tracing and imagining the origins that lead to tea through sound.
