Built upon Arai’s long-standing commitment to driver protection, the GPV-R features new innovations designed to further enhance performance on track.

At its foundation is Arai’s Egg Shape Form (ESF)—a round, smooth, and strong shell shape inspired by nature and developed to enhance Arai’s Glancing Off philosophy.

A key advancement is the new GP-VAS visor system, which lowers the visor pivot point by 17mm to create a larger uninterrupted shell surface above the eye port. The result is a smoother shell shape, lower center of gravity, and improved ability to redirect impact energy.

The all-new GPV-R is the next evolution in Arai’s pursuit of protection.

This is the first replica graphic from Yuki Okamoto—the 2024 JSB1000 Champion and current WorldSSP racer.

Beneath the graphic is Arai’s signature Egg Shaped Form—a smooth, rounded shell profile. This form supports Glancing Off, helping the helmet move past obstacles rather than catch on them.
