Tragic is an understatement. I know she is with the Lord now but pray for her family, friends and colleagues.

As you pray for those grieving, I challenge you to also pray for the one charged with her murder. May God open his eyes to the truth and his need eternal forgiveness and salvation found only in Christ.

PRAY for her grieving family 🙏 A suspect has been arrested and charged in the death of a 38-year-old missionary who was killed in Athens, Greece. The body of Elisabeth-Jane Ross, a Christian aid worker from Scotland, was found inside a suitcase after she was reported missing.

Ross is being remembered by family, friends, and the City on a Hill Church's lead pastor, Peter Anderson, as a "precious" person with a passion for missions.

"It has been a really tough week for our church. We've lost a precious church member, Lisa. She was a member of our church for 20 years, and a very, very precious girl. And it was a real tragic loss."

Her family pleads, "We are in deep pain, and we ask for time and privacy as we come to terms with our loss."
