If you have depleted your gas, here are some few tips to consider as you purchase a new one.

1. Ensure that the cylinder has a unique serial number

2. Ensure that the seal has not been tampered with

3. Ensure that the cylinder is within the validation period by checking the collar where the last date of validation is stamped. The validation date should not be more than 8 years.

4. Make sure that the cylinder is weighed in your presence and that the gross weight corresponds with the one indicated on the cylinder.

5. Ensure that the cylinder has no physical damage like dents.
