S*x education to a 4-year-old from a biblical perspective should be age-appropriate, simple, and centered on God’s design for their body and relationships.

Here are some key principles and approaches:

1. Use Correct but Simple Language

Teach them that God made their body special and good (Psalm 139:13-14).

Use proper names for body parts (e.g., "p***s" and "va**na") while keeping it natural.

Explain that some parts of our bodies are private and should be respected.

2. Teach That God Created Male & Female

Genesis 1:27 says, "God created them male and female." Explain that God made boys and girls uniquely and wonderfully.

Reinforce that being a boy or a girl is part of God’s good design.

3. Set Foundations for Modesty & Boundaries

Teach that some body parts are private and should not be shown or touched by others.

Explain that if someone tries to touch them inappropriately, they should say “No” and tell a trusted adult immediately.

Make sure they understand that their body belongs to them.
