Hello friends and the Green Warriors 237 family,
On 26th June 2026, Green Warriors 237, in partnership with Pamoja Digital Empowerment (PDE), will be conducting a Men’s Mental Health Awareness Event at Majengo Social Hall.
The event will feature:
A 4-kilometre Mental Health Awareness Road Procession
Free medical check-ups
Free eye screening
A special offer on spectacles, with participants able to purchase glasses at a subsidized price of KSh 300.
This initiative aims to promote mental wellness, encourage open conversations about men's mental health, and improve access to essential health services within our community.

Today, 19th February 2026,

The County Government came to finish the project of unblocking drainages in Thika Sub-County, Hospital Ward, Pilot Estate.

This followed a proposal written by Green Warriors 237 to the Department of Environment, seeking support in making the estate cleaner, safer, and healthier for everyone — especially as we approach the rainy season.

This is a clear demonstration that community action, engagement, and follow-up bring real change.

Let us continue keeping our environment clean and green 🌱♻️

On 25th December 2025, Green Warriors 237 carried out a Christmas outreach initiative, going door-to-door across Majengo, Ofafa, and Starehe estates.

During this initiative, we shared food and support with elderly members of the community, ensuring they felt loved and remembered during the festive season. We also did not forget the children—we distributed goodies to kids across all three estates, bringing smiles and joy to many faces.

The activity continued until late in the night. For those who were not able to receive support during this visit, we assure you that Green Warriors 237 remains committed to community empowerment. Our goal is to build a self-sustaining community where we can support one another and ensure no one is left behind.

Together, we can make a difference. 💚

On the 20th, we will be having a major environmental activity in Kajiado Town under the Green Warriors 237 – Kajiado Chapter, in partnership with several organizations, with PDE taking the lead role.

We are also pleased to share that the Kajiado County Government – Department of Environment will be facilitating tree seedlings for the exercise.

PDE and Green Warriors will be leading the activity, working hand-in-hand with all partners to make this day impactful for our community and environment.

The first time I met Truphena Mothoni was in Nairobi at the Red Cross Headquarters, where we were discussing and representing our communities on issues affecting the environment and the possible solutions we could champion. Truphena was one of the keynote speakers, and I remember her biggest wish was to represent Kenya in Brazil at COP30.

What I have learned from our environment and climate-change champion is that you can create impact from wherever you are, in any position. True change starts with passion, consistency, and purpose.

Congratulations, Champ Truphena, on breaking the Guinness World Record.
As a warrior for the environment, I celebrate you and the incredible milestone you have achieved.
