빈티지 톤의 비밀은 보이지 않는곳에도 있습니다. 정밀 실험실급 전기로를 이용해 특정온도로 넥플레이트를 열처리 가공울 합니다. 금속의 내부 응력을 조절하여 더 깊고 그윽한 울림을 만들어내는 과정이죠. 긴장된(응력) 상태의 하드웨어가 음색적으로도 불편한 긴장감을 그대로 반영하고, 이를 열처리를 통하여 해소해 주었을때 비로소 여유로운 울림을 내어준다는것이 참 인간적입니다.
Using laboratory-grade equipment, we heat-treat our neck plate to neutralize internal stresses. When the ‘tension’ in the hardware is released, the tone transforms from stiff and constricted to open and organic. It’s a process of making the metal mor ‘human’ - letting go of the stress to find a more natural, resonant voice. True vintage tone is in the details you can’t see, but can definitely hear.
