Although 𝗨𝗯𝗲𝗿 is a world-renowned super-app, there are several real pain points that customers and drivers face in markets like 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮. As a UI/UX designer/analyst, I have observed these:
🚨 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 (𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀):
📍 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼?" 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗿: Drivers waste passengers' time by accepting the ride, asking for the destination, and then canceling it.
💳 𝗣𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Passengers are inconvenienced by drivers' reluctance to accept card payments.
🎧 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗟𝗮𝗴: Limited support available only through AI bots in case of immediate issues (e.g, forgetting items).
💡 𝗠𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:
✅ 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀: By pre-selecting the preferred areas of the driver, unnecessary cancellations can be minimized.
✅ 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗱𝗿𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝘀: By introducing a method where the driver can receive the money received by card on the same day (Instant payout), card payments can be encouraged.
✅ 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘂𝗽 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀: Instead of narrow roads on the map, suggest "Pickup Points" that can be easily found (Hotspots).
