A brief reflection from the CEO.

When I moved back to Monrovia after a brief stay abroad, I wanted to begin a personal house project. I reached out to a relative. Mann , the cost was so high. Sometimes the list of materials request could build a mansion. After several back and forth and high cost spending, I took a pause on the construction as resources budgeted was depleted. Also, when I got back I had to crash at a friend’s place in anticipation of finding a rental home sooner. That took me nearly six months to find a suitable home. A lot of “I can find you a place” ate my money without any help. A while back after the pause, friends would complained to me about how much relatives or friends would asked them to construct a small foundation or house. Some would come home to realize the resources have gone to waste and would return in frustration. Most would retreat to abandoning their works. And in finding a rental home, the stories were the same.
So I did some research in the sector and assessment of the construction and real estate market and found out that the challenges I’d faced wasn’t unique. Some of the stories where painful and hilarious at the same time.
The solution became why don’t you get involved? So we created My New Crib Realty Company. It’s a company for all levels of income earners. It hasn’t been easy but the journey has been worth it. Lots of learning, unlearning and relearning.
