Quick clay note: if the texture keeps sticking or looking messy, the clay is usually too wet. A slightly firmer slab and one steady roll makes life much easier.❤️
Pattern used: Folk.

LEMON BUUTER COOKIES🍋

Ingredients:
* 300 g flour
* 170 g cold butter
* 100 g sugar
* 50 g almond flour
* 50 g cornstarch
* 1 egg
* 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
* pinch of salt
* zest of 1 lemon
* 1 tsp turmeric (optional)

Method:
Mix all dry ingredients in a bowl. Grate in the cold butter, then add lemon zest, egg, and vanilla. Knead into a smooth dough. If needed, add a little more flour. Chill for at least 30 min.

Roll out the dough to about 0.5 cm on a floured surface. Dust the dough well before using the engraved rolling pin, then slowly roll the pattern into the dough. Cut out the cookies.

Bake at 180C:

* 2 min with fan mode
* then 5-7 min regular bake mode

Let the cookies cool so the pattern stays sharp. Enjoy!

We’ve been a little quiet lately. Not because we stopped caring — just taking time to rethink, try new directions, and find our way again.

This little family business still begins the same way: at our kitchen table, with a wooden rolling pin and homemade cookies in the oven. Every new pattern gets tested in our own dough before it ever reaches yours.

Now we’re ready to be back with our whole hearts. Tell us — what new rolling pin designs would you love to see pressed into your cookies? 🤍
