🚨 **PSA: PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH BEFORE BOOKING AN INFLATABLE!** 🚨
We’ve received **A LOT of calls recently from people who have been scammed by inflatable rental companies**, and we wanted to take a moment to bring some awareness to this issue.
Unfortunately, just because someone has pictures of inflatables and a page **doesn’t necessarily mean they are a legitimate rental company.**
Before sending anyone your hard-earned money, here are a few things we recommend checking:
✅ **1. Make sure they are a legitimate, registered business.**
Check to make sure the company is properly registered with the **State of Florida**. If they are operating a business, there should be a legitimate business behind the name.
✅ **2. Make sure they are insured.**
Inflatables are fun, but they also come with safety responsibilities. Ask the company if they carry liability insurance. A legitimate company should have no problem providing proof of insurance.
✅ **3. Check their Google Business Profile. ⭐️**
Search the company on Google and look at their reviews. What are their customers saying? Do they have an established history? Are there legitimate reviews from actual customers?
✅ **4. Pay attention to HOW they ask for money. 💳**
When you're asked to pay a deposit, make sure you're being directed to a **legitimate payment processing system** rather than sending money to a random person through questionable payment methods.
And if someone suddenly asks you to send **more money than the agreed-upon deposit**, STOP and make sure everything is legitimate before sending anything else.
⚠️ **5. Be careful with recommendations in Facebook groups.**
We see this one all the time. You may ask for an inflatable rental recommendation and suddenly several companies comment.
Unfortunately, **scammers can create fake business names, fake pages, or even recommend fake companies.** Don't automatically trust a company just because someone recommended them in a Facebook group.
👉 **DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.**
Look at their website.
Look at their Google reviews.
Check their business registration.
Ask for proof of insurance.
Make sure their payment process is legitimate.
Look for an established history in the community.
At the end of the day, there is a HUGE difference between a company that has invested in building a legitimate business and someone simply trying to collect deposits.
The legitimate companies in this industry are investing in their equipment, insurance, licensing, safety, customer service, and their reputation. **Those are the companies that are going to be there when your event day arrives.** 🎉
We aren't posting this to scare anyone away from renting inflatables. We LOVE this industry and want people to have great experiences with it!
And if **we don't have what you're looking for**, we'd rather point you in the right direction. We know several reputable companies in the industry and would be happy to recommend another legitimate company that may have what you need.
❤️ **Please do your research before booking. Protect yourself, protect your money, and make sure the company you choose is one you can trust.**
