Good day, May 9, 2025.
I know I have been very inconsistent with posting on this page. FB is telling me they are shutting it down if I don't post. I also know that all of you on here are on my personal page and see what I post there.
I will do better with this page as I can.

I trust all my friends and family are getting ready to celebrate the holidays. For me that is Thanksgiving then Christmas then.....my birthday on December 31. This is the real BIG one.....80.
I know there are other holidays included in this time frame including my Jewish friends and others, so that is why I don't mind when people tell me, "Happy Holidays". I usually respond the same or, "Merry Christmas".
I just want you to be joyful during this time. Some of you are facing the first year without someone you dearly love and I know that will be tough. I always try to think of several of the most joyful experiences with that person and focus on that when I want to be too sad. Maybe that is a good word for you, too.
I will try to be more present on this page. Be blessed.

Over 40 years ago I wrote a section for a girl's Christian magazine answering question. I named it "The Darlene Scene" and it was very successful. Off course, things season out. Meanwhile, all my business or personal type efforts I called the same, The Darlene Scene. When I started to sell on Etsy it had to be one word only so I combined it. I would love to have you check out my store and possibly you'll find something you need custom made.

We are in the glorious, yet painful, time of the year when we celebrate Jesus' triumphant entry (Palm Sunday) the in just a few days the cheering turns to jeering, Crucify Him.....but.....it had to happen for us to be saved. So thankful. I hope you are as well.

Easter is getting closer so it doesn't get any easier than this for kids or us that act like like kids. Maybe even take something like this to shut-ins with flowers in it. Just a thought.
