KEEP IT FRESH LONGER ☕️☕️

To maximize the taste and freshness of your coffee, we recommend you store it in an airtight or vacuum pumped container (or one of our resealable Coffee Pouches) - kept in a dark, dry, cool place like the pantry.

Storing it in the fridge or freezer may affect its natural oils and alter the flavor.

Whole beans stay fresher longer than pre-ground beans; so where possible grind only the required amount of whole beans just before brewing.

When purchasing coffee from us, you can request your beans to be ground.
Don't forget to tell us how you brew your coffee! There is a BIG difference in the grind for an espresso machine compared with a plunger.

Let's talk crema ☕

What exactly is the golden, creamy layer of an espresso?
Well, it's the oils extracted from the coffee.
When ground coffee is extracted, the heat and pressure force the oils out of the coffee, which separates from the water, forming a thicker layer.

Certain brew methods, like espresso or cafetiere, might have crema where filter brew methods don't because of the heat and pressure applied to the grounds during the extraction.
