AS IM ENTERING 4 SERIES THIS YEAR,
I started doing some simple math about life.
If I live to 70, that gives me another 30 years.
Thirty years sounds like a long time... until I break it down.
For the next 15 years, I'll likely continue with my career.
For the next 17 years, my son will be growing through school, university, and eventually building lives of is own.
Every day is already filled with work, school runs, traffic, deadlines, responsibilities, household chores, and the endless effort of simply keeping life moving.
Then I asked myself:
How do I want to spend the next 30 years of my life?
The answer came with surprising clarity.
I no longer want to spend my precious time trying to please everyone.
I no longer want to carry the weight of toxic relationships, negative energy, unnecessary drama, or people who constantly drain my spirit.
Life is too short to keep shrinking myself for the comfort of others.
Too short to stay in environments that steal my peace.
Too short to keep giving my energy to people who only take.
The next chapter of my life is about protecting my peace, setting healthy boundaries, and choosing what truly matters.
It's about saying "no" without guilt.
Walking away from what no longer serves me.
Letting go of resentment, expectations, and the need for approval.
It's about creating space for joy, purpose, growth, and genuine connections.
I want to spend more time doing what lights up my soul.
Traveling.
Learning.
Laughing.
Being healthy.
Making memories with the people who love me wholeheartedly.
Enjoying simple moments without constantly worrying about what's next.
The truth is, life is not measured by how many years we have left, but by how fully we live the years we are given.
Today, I'm choosing myself.
Not selfishlyโbut intentionally.
I'm choosing peace over chaos.
Growth over fear.
Freedom over obligation.
Happiness over approval.
Because one day, when I look back on my life, I don't want to remember only deadlines, meetings, traffic jams, and responsibilities.
I want to remember the adventures I took, the dreams I pursued, the boundaries I honored, the love I shared, and the life I truly lived.
