𝟭𝟬 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚, 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 & 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗜𝗡𝗘

10 years ago, Tasting Lab JB started with a simple idea — to share my passion for w**e, make w**e knowledge more approachable, and build a community of people who enjoy w**e as much as I do.

Looking back, it has been quite a journey. From w**e tastings and workshops to w**e dinners and countless conversations over a glass, I’m grateful for everyone who has walked through our doors, supported us, and been part of this little w**e community in JB.

To celebrate Tasting Lab’s 10th anniversary, I’d like to share a little something with you.

𝑬𝑹𝑵𝑰𝑬 𝑬𝑳𝑺 𝑪𝑯𝑬𝑵𝑰𝑵 𝑩𝑳𝑨𝑵𝑪 - 𝑺𝑶𝑼𝑻𝑯 𝑨𝑭𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑨

Named and owned by legendary South African professional golfer - Ernie Els.
An unoaked 100% Chenin Blanc. Aromas of pear, apple, lemon and ginger meet the electric scent of dawn. The palate is fruit driven, loaded with pineapple and peach, washed through with a zesty, crisp appley acidity. Clean, textured and full of verve, it finishes with citrus-pith grip and a mouthwatering grapefruit snap.

𝑴𝑨𝑵 𝑩𝑶𝑺𝑺𝑻𝑶𝑲 𝑷𝑰𝑵𝑶𝑻𝑨𝑮𝑬, 𝑾𝑬𝑺𝑻𝑬𝑹𝑵 𝑪𝑨𝑷𝑬 - 𝑺𝑶𝑼𝑻𝑯 𝑨𝑭𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑨

100% Pinotage - native grape only to South Africa. Aromas of mocha and roasted coffee beans, followed by juicy flavours of red berries, nutmeg and vanilla spice on the palate. A medium red with 25% of the w**e matured in American oak barrels, 20% of which were new, for 12 months. Pairs well with barbecue and hearty meat dishes with fragrant spices.
