常有客人问我：包包的口金和包链都是铁制的，它们会褪色或生锈吗？
我的回答很简单——若有人向你保证绝对不会，那一定是骗你的！😅
铁质金属配件确实存在褪色和生锈的可能，但通过正确的保养，可以大大延缓这个过程。
🔍 为什么会褪色/生锈？
🔹️ 褪色：通常指表面的电镀层，因摩擦、汗液或化学品侵蚀而变薄，露出底层底色。
🔹️生锈：铁遇水或潮湿空气，氧化后形成铁锈。这是铁的化学特性，无法完全避免，但可预防。
✨️ 金属配件需要你的温柔以待：
🔸️务必保持干燥，切忌浸泡水中；若沾湿，请即刻用软布擦干。
🔸️香水、护手霜、化妆品、清洁剂等会腐蚀镀层，建议喷完香水后再背包。
🔸️不常使用时，不要挂在衣架上，最好用布袋或防尘袋密封收纳。

Customers often ask me: “The kisslock frame and chain on your bags are made of iron. Will they fade or rust?”
My answer is simple — if anyone guarantees that they absolutely never will, they’re probably lying to you! 😅
Iron metal hardware can indeed fade or rust over time. But with proper care, you can significantly slow down the process.
🔍 Why does it fade or rust?
· Fading: This usually happens when the plating on the surface becomes thinner due to friction, sweat, or exposure to chemicals, eventually revealing the base colour underneath.
· Rusting: When iron comes into contact with water or humid air, it oxidises and forms rust. This is a natural chemical property of iron — it cannot be completely avoided, but it can be prevented and delayed.
✨ Treat your metal hardware with a little TLC:
🔸 Keep it dry. Never soak the bag or hardware in water. If it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately with a soft cloth.
🔸 Keep chemicals away. Perfume, hand cream, cosmetics and cleaning products can damage the plating. It’s best to apply perfume before carrying your bag.
🔸 Store it properly. If you’re not using the bag regularly, avoid hanging it on a clothes hanger. Instead, store it in a cloth bag or dust bag in a dry place.
