How to Make Your Lipstick Last Longer!

Who doesn’t want their lipstick to not long last right? We would want to look beautiful all day long! So here we are providing you a few tips:

1. Exfoliation Is The Key: Lipstick clings better to a smooth skin surface, much like the rest of your face makeup. Use a lip scrub to slough away dead skin cells and soothe chapped lips. Apply a hydrating lip balm afterward. This will give your lip color a consistent base and help it last all day. Simply wipe off the extra lip balm when you're ready to move on to your lipstick.

2. Try A Lip Primer + Concealer: Lip primer enhances the color of the lipstick and allows it to last longer. Using a lip primer helps keep your lips moisturized and creates a smooth surface for your lipstick to cling to. Simply dab a little amount of primer onto your moisturized lips and smooth with your finger. The purpose of a concealer is to level out the skin tone. Applying a small coating of concealer to the lips will help the lipstick stay longer by bringing out the real color of the lipstick.

3. Line Your Lips: Lining your lips to prevent lipstick from feathering is a tip that makeup professionals swear by. For a better basis, use the lip liner to fill in the lips before applying the lipstick. You may either use a lip pencil that matches your lipstick or a neutral or universal lip liner. Outline the lips first, then fill them in with the lip pencil.

One Makeup Look with One Lipstick!

Given that the entire look should be done with a single shade, choose one that complements your skin tone and gives you a fresh, pump blush look. Here are the steps:

1. Take lipstick with the shade that you want and apply it to your lips.
2. Apply the lipstick and dab on your cheek. Rub it with your index finger or a makeup brush following your cheekbone line to enhance your face structure.
3. Then apply the lipstick on your eyelids and again use a makeup brush and blend them nicely.

Let’s Stay Connected!

Hey beaubabies, we know this past few months have been a challenging time for us all with the pandemic and social distancing that got us feeling socially isolated and tired. So here are few ways we can stay socially connected with our friends and family in these difficult times.

1. Give Them a call: Just pick up the phone and call someone whether it’s your parents, friends, or colleagues. Maybe even call those old friends from school you haven't spoken to in years and reminisce. The importance of our regular encounters is brought home by social isolation. Your call has the potential to brighten someone else's day as well as your own.

2. Streaming time: Invite people to join an online discussion about certain tv shows, books, or games. You can also watch some live streams of your favorite streamer and just have a live interaction with the community.

3. Keeping it Healthy: Do some outdoor exercise with your friends or family if they’re nearby and remember to keep a safe distance between you and them which is 2 meters to avoid physical contact. if you live alone, then slip some pair of running shoes and go for some light jog around the neighborhood.

4. Do check-ups: Check on your elderly neighbors to see if they are okay. Strike up frequent talks with these people from a safe distance at the same time every day or several times a week. Before you go to the store, see whether they need anything. Whether you live in an apartment or a house, you may help those in your neighborhood who are in need.
