Some of you really need to stop with the comparisons whenever youâre given a price for a service.
what do you mean by âNgozi charges less than that for braids or revampingâ My dear, shebi you no see Ngozi before you come meet me?
There is a customer for everybody, and there are different factors that determine the price of a service. If you feel my price is above your budget, thatâs absolutely fine. You can simply check out another service provider whose price works better for you. There really is no need to compare me to someone else.
My friend actually told me something this morning that reminded me of this.
A client brought her wig to her for revamping and complained that her price was too expensive because someone else had previously revamped the same wig for a much cheaper price.
Funny enough, this was the same client who had complained about how badly her wig had been handled the last time,which was why she eventually had to look for someone else to fix it.
And Iâm like⌠if they did such a great job, why didnât you go back to them?
My friend said the condition of the wig when it was brought in was really bad, and because of that, it required a lot more work and consumed a significant amount of products to get it back into good condition.
Letâs also remember that revamping products arenât cheap. Quality products cost money, and the quality of products, expertise, time, skill, and overall process all contribute to the price of a service.
You canât expect someone who invests in quality products and takes their time to properly restore your wig to charge the same price as someone using Topklass shampoo. Na when they spoil your wig beyond repair your eyes go finally clear.
Anyway, as I earlier said, itâs not a must to patronize me. There is a customer for everybody. If my price is above your budget, thatâs perfectly okay,simply find a service provider whose price works for you.
But please, letâs leave the comparisons.
Know what youâre paying for, know what you can afford, and choose accordingly.
